The turn brought the 3♥ and both players checked to the K♣ on the river. Orpaz led out with a bet of 120,000 which put Krashennikova in the tank for over a minute. Eventually, she folded and Orpaz showed 7♥6♠ for just seven-high.

Rico Steps Out in a Battle of Big Stacks

Christian Rico opened to 30,000 from under the gun and picked up calls from Matheus Araujo in the cutoff, Samara Alexandre, and Deddi Orpaz in the blinds.

The flop came A♠6♦2♠ and the blinds checked to Rico who continued with a bet of 45,000. Araujo and Alexandre both called while Orpaz stepped aside.

The turn was the K♦ and Alexandre checked again. Rico counted out a bet of 85,000 which got Araujo to lay his hand down. Alexandre thought for a bit longer but eventually dumped her cards into the muck as well. Rico raked in the pot with a sigh of relief as he showed his Q♠10♣ for complete air.

Daria Krashennikova raised to 30,000 in the hijack and Marcelo Lopes pushed all in for 60,000 in the big blind. Krashennikova quickly called and tabled A♣A♦ in the process. Lopes was in tough with his Q♠10♣ and the flop of J♣8♦2♠ provided no immediate help. The 8♥ paired the board on the turn but the 9♥ on the river gave Lopes a straight and a small double up.

On the next hand, Krashennikova opened to 30,000 again. Alberto Murilo called from the big blind and the dealer fanned the flop of J♦9♣6♣. Murilo checked to Krashennikova who continued with a bet of 45,000. Murilo check-raised all in for around 190,000 and Krashennikova instantly called.
