Nicolas Chretien checked from the small blind, and Yves Farges fired out a bet of 10,000. Vincenzo Popolo called in middle position, before Chretien jammed for 32,000.

Farges went deep into the tank, and eventually the clock was called. Farges ultimately folded, and Popolo quickly followed suit.

With around 9,000 in the middle on a board of 10♠4♠4♣4♥, Ilona Aleksandroviene and Yves Farges checked to Jordan Buhagiar, who fired out a bet of 2,500. Both of his opponents called.

The 8♥ river completed the board and was checked through.

Aleksandroviene immediately mucked, Farges tabled A♠J♠, playing the board with ace-jack high, and Buhagiar was delighted to see his A♥K♠ was good despite bricking.

The K♣ hit on the turn, and Terasov fired once more, this time with a bet of 3,000. Aleksandroviene took a final peek at her cards, and sent them to the muck.

In a battle of the blinds, Yousef Albabtain was sweeping in a big pot, after jamming for 19,400 in the face of a bet of 11,300 from Angelo Monachino into a pot of around 20,000, with the completed board reading 6♠2♠2♦7♥8♣.

Monachino made the call, and confidently tabled 3♦2♣ for trip deuces, but Albabtain could beat it with 7♦7♠ for the full house, a brutal early cooler.

In a five-way limped pot started by Daniel Barnes in middle position with the flop reading Q♥J♥9♦, Barnes fired out a bet of 1,000. Nuno Morais was in the next seat, and he raised to 3,000. All other players folded, and Barnes called.

The J♠ hit on the turn, and Barnes led out with a bet of 2,000. Morais just called.

The 2♥ river completed the board, and Barnes fired out a blocker-sized bet of 2,000.

Morais quickly flicked in a calling chip, but saw the bad news and mucked when Barnes tabled K♦10♥ for the flopped straight.

A pot of 4,000 had developed by the river on a board of 10♥10♠9♣J♣A♠, in a hand between Andrea Cannizzaro under the gun and Raymond Phelan on the button.

Cannizzaro went for a chunky bet of 3,500, and Phelan gave it a fair amount of thought before calling.

Cannizzaro tabled 8♥7♣ for the turned straight, and Phelan had got unlucky with K♦10♣ for flopped trip tens. He was clearly pondering a raise on the river, and will be glad to have lost the minimum.
