Marciel Cerbito Eliminated in 17th Place (PHP 176,500)

Level 30 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Marciel Cerbito and Benhur Ybarsabal

Right after his preflop misclick and getting shown pocket aces on the other side of the table, Marlon Laxamana experienced the very same fate but this time there was most certainly no thought of folding as the most classic of setups in tournament poker got the chips into the middle against Marciel Cerbito.

Marciel Cerbito: AA All in
Marlon Laxamana: KK

Cerbito's aces fell behind on the K1010 flop and he never found an escape on the 2 turn nor 9 river

In what must have been a misclick preflop, Marlon Laxamana made it 80,000 to go and Edilberto Gopez in the small blind then pushed all-in for around 340,000. Henrik Tollefsen in the big blind went over the top for little more and Laxamana folded.

Henrik Tollefsen: AA

The board ran out KQ9J3 and Gopez bowed out in 18th place.

Quads Alert Once Again

Level 30 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Seung Hyun Han just paid off a river bet worth 100,000 by Ivan Dela Cruz and was shown 99 for quads on turn and river to lose another chunk of his stack.

Diana Tan then raised to 35,000 and Hyunsik Nam defended the big blind. Nam check-called the 552 flop for 35,000 and checked the 2 turn. Tan bet 50,000 and Nam folded. "Deuces?" he asked but Tan didn't show.

Level 30 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Edilberto Gopez got a three-bet shove through and Patrick Clarke also moved in preflop without being called.

Seung Hyun Han then raised to 50,000 in the small blind and folded when AJ Acdal jammed for around 450,000 one seat over.

Both were at it again the very next hand and this time, Acdal was looked up when he was at risk for 522,000 after calling the shove by Han on the button.

Brar Doesn't Bluff

Level 30 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

With the blinds going up, the last hand prior saw a tussle between Marciel Cerbito and Gursimran Brar on which the former checked the 832Q3 river. Brar bet 180,000 and Cerbito used one time bank before he folded.

"Show the bluff one time," Renato Villanueva demanded and Brar was a little bit upset.

"Pick any card, there is no bluff," Brar offered and slid the cards towards Villanueva. One of them was exposed, which happened to be the Q.

Level 29 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On the tail end of the Q4256 runout, Edilberto Gopez in the small blind called a bet of 330,000 by Marlon Laxamana for essentially half of his stack. Laxamana tabled his 44 for a flopped set of fours and that was good to drag in a very healthy pot, extending his lead on the final three tables.
