John Clyde Tan was all-in and at near risk with pocket kings against the A♣K♣ of AJ Acdal. The board ran out A♦10♣8♥2♦J♦ and the suited ace put a major dent into Tan's stack. Acdal doubled for 239,500 and that left his opponent on fumes.
Tan was then all-in for the last of it with J♥10♦ against the Q♠Q♦ of Diana Tan. The larger stack prevailed on the K♥7♦7♠10♠8♦ runout.
Badrudin Ampatuan bet the 9♠6♥2♦ flop for 25,000 and was called by Diana Tan to then use a time bank and bet the 2♠ turn for another 45,000, which Tan called once more. The 8♥ on the river was then checked through and Ampatuan revealed the A♠3♠ for a busted flush draw.
Tan had that beat with the 7♥7♦ and nearly closed the gap to Ampatuan.
The most classic of flips put the tournament life of Jeffrey Calonge on the line and he was up against Paul Tirnovean.

After many hands that didn't go anywhere, Czardy Rivera got his short stack into the middle via three-bet shove with the A♣4♥. He was looked up by Rene David with the Q♥J♠ and David instantly paired up on the Q♠7♦5♥7♥5♦ runout to bring the field down to the last 37 contenders.
Shortly after, Minjung Kim was knocked out from a neighbouring table and that made it 36 left.
Three ways to the Q♠10♥9♠ flop, Ivan Dela Cruz checked and Andrew De Ocampo bet 15,000. Lemmor Patulot called for Dela Cruz to shove for 85,000. De Ocampo went into a long tank before he eventually called, Patulot folded.

John Tech defended the big blind versus the button raise of Cheng Wong and check-called 12,000 on the A♥9♥7♦ flop. After the 6♣ turn they both checked and the 3♣ came on the river. Tech checked again and Wong fired a bet of 20,000 to force a reluctant fold.
"Pair flush draw? I have more," Wong asked his opponent with a smirk on the face.
On the A♦10♦3♣ flop, James Dela Cruz in the big blind and Benhur Ybarsabal invested 10,000 each to then check the 4♦ on the turn. Dela Cruz bet the 7♥ river for 31,000 and Ybarsabal went through all of his three time banks before he let go to get shown the 3♥2♥ by Dela Cruz.
