Another Break With the Bubble Looming

Level 17 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Another two hours at the tables have been completed and there are only 39 players remaining, all with the hopes of securing a piece of the PHP 15 million prize pool. Former big stack Maxwell Rosete is not among them as his seat over on table 21 is empty as the players are now on a 15-minute break.

Down to the last 21,500, Chi Yan Wong pushed all-in and was called only by Joshua Figuerres in the next seat.

Joshua Figuerres: A10

Wong asked for a king but was happy with the J53 flop as well. After the 9 turn he only needed to dodge another heart but the 2 river improved Figuerres to the ace-high flush.

"What the fuck?" Wong asked while recording the outcome of the hand on his phone.

Isback and Ampatuan Near the Top

Level 17 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Euryd Rivera had most of his chips already in the middle preflop and the rest reluctantly went in after the Q103 flop when his 44 was in bad shape. Simon Isback had a strong lead by then with the KQ and the 9 turn left Rivera with a single out, which never came on the blank 2 river.

Ellezer Castillo bowed out moments later one table over and the field reached the final five tables already for Day 1d.

Gomez Stuns Ysmael

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With the flop showing J82, Raymond Gomez checked in the big blind and then called a bet of 11,000 by William Ysmael in the hijack. He opted to check the 4 on the turn and Ysmael bet 38,000 only to face a quick check-shove by his opponent.

Ysmael used two time banks before he called all-in for around 120,000.

William Ysmael: AJ All in
Raymond Gomez: J8

Ysmael needed an ace but found none on the 3 river to leave the table rather stunned.
