Christopher Dean had lost a larger portion of his stack but made up for it when he sent Jedd Kossew to the rail.

Following a Kossew open to 7,000, Dean three-bet to 20,000 and Kossew called to check the 6♣3♠2♠ flop. Dean bet 40,000 and instantly called the shove by Kossew.

Bradley Sweetman was nowhere to be found anymore while Stefan Bittger had chipped up on his former table. Bittger then took on Dylan Wilkerson, who bet the K♦Q♠J♠ flop for 9,000 and received a call.

Wilkerson used a time bank on the 6♦ turn to then bet 45,000 and Bittger folded.

After the hand was over, Jon Persent walked out of the tournament area but not without mentioning that he had busted.

"I played six hands in a row, all of them premiums and lost four. I guess, I got a little impatient. In the last hand, Chris opened and received two callers. I jammed pocket sevens and he had pocket jacks".

Chris in this case was Christopher Dean, who then also knocked out Rudalf Frick shortly after.

Only 28 players still have chips at their disposal and they have been sent on a scheduled 15-minute break, during which the T-500 chips will be raced off.

Patrice Ah-Nien bowed out with a severe short stack according to Ahmed Karrim, who scored the knockout with jack-ten versus ace-king.

In the last hand before the break, Max Deveson sent a player from Mozambique to the rail after he raised from under the gun with K♣Q♥ and called a short stack shove versus Q♠J♥. The board ran out 4♦3♣2♦8♣K♠ and that reduced the field further.

Conradie Gets Value From Le Roux

Rohan Conradie three-bet the button and was called by Divan Le Roux from under the gun. They checked the 7♦6♦5♦ flop and Le Roux also checked the 9♦ turn. Conradie bet 15,000 and received a check-call.

The same action repeated on the 2♣ river for another 15,000 and Conradie revealed A♦A♥ for the ace-high flush.

Both players now checked through to the 10♦ river, on which Cohen's bet of 15,000 avoided a showdown to win the pot uncontested.

Justin Cohen value-bet a queen-high river for 20,000 and was called by Christopher Dean to declare "I have a queen" before Dean replied "so do I", exposing the A♦Q♦.

"That's bad," Cohen chimed in as he flashed the Q♠J♠ before the pot was shipped to the other side of the table.

At the same time one table over, the flop showed 9♠5♠3♥ and Braam van Huyssteen bet for 12,000 out of the small blind to get called by Eban Lottering in late position. Van Huyssteen used a time bank on the 8♥ turn before he jammed for a short stack and Lottering instantly tossed in calling chips.

Simon Solomon raised to 8,000 from under the gun and was called by Ahmed Karrim in the cutoff. Vygandas Simuntis then jammed for 87,000 in the small blind and Solomon let go.

Karrim went into chatty mode and talked through some scenarios. He added "I can beat pocket eights" before he verified the all-in amount again on the first time extension. The call followed and brought with it this showdown.

"Did you have an ace?" Karrim asked Solomon who shook his head. "That's not good ..." Karrim added but then changed the tune to "that's good when the 10♥5♥3♦ flop changed the lead. However, it was instantly followed by the A♣ turn and the 8♣ river secured the double of Simuntis.

"You talk about pocket eights, so I thought you have them," Simuntis said while pointing to the board with the eight on the river.
