In a four-way pot to the K♣J♣2♣ flop, Anjan Mulji had bet and earned three callers in Muddassir Ameer, Muzami Gothey, as well as Adriaan Bekker. They checked the 9♠ turn and the 8♥ came on the river. Mulji bet for 7,200 and Gothey was the only caller for the former to shake his head, exposing the A♣10♦ for a busted gutshot and nut flush draw.
Gothey had that beat with K♦Q♦ and nearly reached six figures again.

With the turn showing K♥9♠3♥4♣, a player from Tanzania bet 15,000 and El-Juan Du Plessis then moved all-in. The other player had around 25,000 behind and eventually sighed, said "okay" and moved forward some chips for the call.
Du Plessis tabled his K♦K♣ for top set and had the elimination locked up, as his opponent only had 9♣3♣. The river brought the 9♥ and the six-figure pot was shipped to Du Plessis.
"I should not have been in the hand," the player from Tanzania remarked.
Du Plessis joined the biggest stacks with Cassiem Du Toit on the same table also right there.
Adriaan Bekker was all-in for 15,700 on the J♦10♠7♣ before Ivan Jarosz moved all-in over the top for more than double of that. Muzamio Gothey called and they turned them over.

Both overpairs couldn't improve on the K♠ turn and 4♠ river as Bekker tripled up. Jarosz won a pot soon after before he then crashed out against Bekker.
Heads-up to the 6♥5♥5♦ flop, Stephen Courtney jammed into a bet by Muzamio Gothey and was quickly called.
The Q♥9♥ of Courtney had outs with the flush draw and one overcard, as Gothey tabled the 10♥10♠. The 9♣ turn added some outs but the 2♠ river was a blank.
With the turn showing Q♣3♣2♥K♠, Sheldon Grove bet 6,500. He then faced the all-in of Anand Kumar from the next seat and reluctantly folded, getting shown the 3♦3♥ for a set of treys.
At the same time, Wesley Blom busted from one seat over and remarked "please to not publish this hand". He re-entered soon after and declared "too many bluffs" when walking around in the tournament area to find the new seat.
Harold Lipman also entered at the same time as the field continues to expand.
Marko Nortje suffered an early exit for the third day in a row when he was not successful with a bluff on a board of 10♣8♥4♠8♣9♣. Dhinesh Soopramanien looked him up with the Q♠9♠ for a pair of nines and beat the Q♣5♠ for queen-high only. A few minutes later, Nortje re-entered into the same seat while Cliton Taliwanth also disappeared.
On the tail end of a K♥K♦6♥10♥7♠ board, Ben checked and then called a bet worth 6,000 by Stephen Courtney in the next seat. Courtney tabled the K♣J♥ for trips kings but Ben had that beat with the 4♥3♥ for a flush.
The High Roller third-place finisher vanished shortly after, not by lack of chips but he was moved to a new table.
