SM Goes on Roller Coaster Ride

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Wesley Blom
Wesley Blom

Gavin Sardini check-called the A958 turn for 22,000 in a larger pot versus SM and then checked the 10 river. SM loaded up a bet of 52,000 and Sardini folded.

Soon after, SM built another big pot and bet the QJ5K turn. Wesley Blom moved all-in and SM sigh-called with the words "well done". Blom had spiked his gutshot with the A10 and SM could only chop with a ten, as his AA were suddenly crushed.

The river was the 3 and Blom doubled.

In the meanwhile, Hafiz Juma told Muzamil Gothey about his exit on a nearby table.

Ahmed Karrim was all-in preflop for the last 19,000 and looked up by High Roller champion Costa Giannakopoulos.

"I am ahead of you," Karrim said as he rolled over the 77.

"But I have king kong and flush," Giannakopoulos replied as he flipped over the K5.

The suited king got there on the 86654 board to knock out Karrim.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On a three-way flop of KQ10, Gerrit van der Spoel bet 15,000 and then called the all-ins of two shorter stacks.

One of them revealed the Q10 for bottom two pair, while Hennie Appel had the J9 for the made straight. Van der Spoel had outs with QQ but didn't get there on the 8 turn and J river runout.

Successful Dust Spin For Ebrahim

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Zash Ebrahim jammed for the last 16,100 and was called by Cliton Taliwanth in the next seat.

"This is for the dust spin," Ebrahim declared and was behind with K9 versus A8.

The 522 flop left Ebrahim in rough shape but he caught running kings with the K turn and K river.

SM Back on Track

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

One of the local players by the name of Ash got it in after the J105 flop only to get looked up by SM. They had the QJ for top pair and were also in the ongoing flip for another seat at the same time. SM was way out in front with KK and nothing changed with the 10 turn or 9 river.

The flip was not a success either as Harold Brooks was the winner in that.

Jarred Solomon had been eliminated, too, and couldn't bink the flip for a bargain entry either.
