Panayiotis Giannakopoulos

Panayiotis Giannakopoulos first doubled with 103 against the AQ of Dhinesh Soopramanien when he got there on the 993J6 board.

He then knocked out Nic Ioannoy who got it in with AQ on the K748Q board. Giannakopoulos was just waiting for that move as he had turned a straight with the 65.

"I know how to build the stack, now I just have to keep it," Giannakopoulos said.

Sheldon Grove

Sheldon Grove was already all-in and awaiting his fate when Warren Zackey as well as Joachim Aucamp were still active. They checked down the K1088 turn and K river.

"I needed a queen or seven," Grove said and tabled the J9. Zackey had the 108 for a full house and Aucamp mucked J9.

Grove was eliminated and bought back in shortly after.

Aucamp Loses Two Bullets in a Row

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Joachim Aucamp arrived with a new entry and put the chips to use right away, jamming the J5. Cliton Taliwanth looked him up with the KQ and held on a board opf 97449.

Aucamp got up from his chair, then crashed on the ground from the rapid movement and needed a short while to recover. Once he did, he re-entered into the same seat and open-jammed the 93. Zash Ebrahim took the "flip" with 33 and doubled on a AQ107A runout. Aucamp had very few chips left and busted right before dinner.

Gavin Sardini
Gavin Sardini

With some 25,000 in the middle to the 963 flop, Gavin Sardini faced a bet of 12,000 by the player in the hijack and moved all-in for 33,700. He received a reluctant call and nodded, exposing the AJ only. He was up against A9 and needed help to survive.

Nothing changed with the 3 turn but the 5Js] river brought a miracle double.
