In what started as a limped pot, the action escalated on the K♦7♣5♦8♣ turn with Roy Bitton on the button taking on Norman Cherry in the big blind. Cherry had the best of it with 9♠6♠ for the high end of the straight while Bitton only had the 6♥4♠ for the bottom end.

Nothing changed with the Q♣ river and Cherry doubled for 248,000.

One table over, Massimo Zanette open-jammed for the last 76,000 and Alvin Pillay called out of the blinds.
