Franco Da Matta three-bet to 275,000 out of the small blind with the A♣4♣ and Jaco Mouton on the button then four-bet jammed for 1,265,000 with the Q♥Q♦. After some consideration, Da Matta folded his suited ace-rag.

Marko Nortje had lost the last all-in before the break to be left with 20,000 and he was forced all-in from the small blind. Alvin Pillay raised the button to 125,000 and Jedd Kossew folded in the big blind.
Marko Nortje: Q♠9♥
Alvin Pillay: 4♣3♣
The 8♣6♠6♦7♥10♠ board gave Nortje the straight.
Justin Cohen then raised to 110,000 in the hijack and Nortje jammed the button for 140,000, Cohen called after a few seconds with "a small pair".
Marko Nortje: K♦8♦
Justin Cohen: 2♣2♦
"Come on, two ducks on the flop," inquired. Instead, there were two eights on 8♣8♠5♥. The A♥ turn and 3♥ river awarded the double once more.
Level: 25
Blinds: 25,000/50,000

The final 17 players have been sent on their second scheduled 15-minute break during which the two tables will be swapped again for the live stream table.
Over on the outer table, the open raise of Jon Persent was called by Andrew Holland on the button and Jayson Zulch in the big blind. They headed to the 10♣7♠5♠ flop on which Zulch in the big blind led for 125,000. Persent flat-called and Holland then asked Zulch for his stack size before he jammed all-in.
Zulch sigh-folded and Persent grabbed his phone to record the imminent all-in call.
Jon Persent: 10♠10♥
Andrew Holland: 5♦5♥
The 4♣ turn and 6♦ river were blanks and Persent doubled for exactly 1,700,000 to put a dent into the rising pile of Holland's stack.
TA opened to 120,000 with the K♠K♣ and Alexandre Blanc called in the cutoff holding the 6♦6♣. Marko Nortje called in the big blind with J♥8♥ and checked the J♦9♥4♥ flop. TA jammed for massive 1,325,000 to force out Blanc, but Nortje called with the almost identical stack.
Neither the A♦ turn nor the 4♠ river changed anything and Nortje was left on literal fumes.
Jayson Zulch opened the button to 90,000 and Jaco Mouton called in the big blind. They checked the J♠9♠5♣ flop and Mouton led the 2♣ turn for 120,000. Zulch gave up and was shown the J♣9♦ for the flopped top two pair.
Alvin Pillay raised to 100,000 with the J♦J♣ and Jedd Kossew three-bet to 265,000 out of the cutoff with the A♦Q♠, Pillay called.
On the K♦9♦6♣ flop, Pillay checked before paying off a first barrel for 175,000. The 3♠ turn went check, check, and Pillay checked the 2♣ on the river. Kossew bet 500,000 and Pillay tank-folded to get shown the bluff.
Jon Persent had grinded out a profit since moving to the final two tables and then opened to 80,000 in the hijack. Edgar Antezana called on the button and Andrew Holland three-bet to 250,000 in the big blind. Only Persent called while Antezana folded.
Holland led the 8♣3♥2♠ flop for 450,000, which was nearly half of his stack. Persent moved all-in with the covering stack and Holland called without any delay.
Andrew Holland: K♣K♥
Jon Persent: J♣J♠
The A♣ turn and K♠ river delivered no suckout and Holland doubled with a set of kings.
"I was only afraid of pocket aces," Holland smirked when he raked in the chips.
Within the first four hours and change, the tournament has seen 43 survivors whittled down to the final 18 hopefuls and the last two tables have been reached. With an average of 50.6 big blinds, the action is incredibly deep and the chip leaders have a fortune worth of big blinds at their disposal to potentially make for a long night here in Cape Town.
