Michael Cupido opened to 60,000 with the K♥Q♠ from under the gun and Naven Naicker called from the big blind with the 4♥3♥. Following the Q♥5♣2♣ flop, Naicker picked up an open-ender and check-called for 75,000 to the 4♦ turn. He now check-called for another 175,000 and bet the A♣ river for 240,000.
Cupido snap-folded and Naicker earned the chips.
Three ways to the Q♦J♣9♥ flop, Tim Akinnusi checked and Jon Persent bet 80,000. Jayson Zulch raised to 175,000 and Akinnusi folded, while Persent called.
They checked the 7♥ turn and A♦ river for Persent to table the A♠J♦, Zulch mucked the K♦Q♥.
Marko Nortje opened to 60,000 from under the gun with the 8♠8♣ and Alexandre Blanc called in the big blijnd with 7♥5♥.
On the 6♦5♣3♠ flop, Blanc led for 55,000 and Nortje called to do so again for 65,000 on the 7♠ turn.
The river brought the 4♠ with the straight on the board. Blanc checked and Nortje fired a large bet of 550,000 for more than the pot. Blanc found the fold and Nortje only received a small profit in the hand.
Naven Naicker raised to 60,000 with the A♠2♣ and was called by Michael Cupido in the hijack who had the 6♠6♦. Jedd Kossew also came along out of the big blind with K♥J♣ and the trio checked to the Q♥10♥5♥3♣ turn. Kossew bet 110,000 for Cupido to call and the 4♥ came on the river.
Both players now checked and Kossew won the pot with his four-card flush.
Alvin Pillay won a bigger pot off Jon Persent when the latter had to give up the 6♣3♣3♥A♠ turn and he then took on the chip leader at the table in Franco Da Matta. On the K♣Q♦J♣ flop, Da Matta bet 60,000 and Pillay called.
Da Matta check-called the 6♠ turn for 60,000 and led the 7♣ river for 280,000. Pillay tank-folded and exclaimed "bluff ... show".
Da Matta was about to rake in the pot but eventually flashed the A♣Q♣ for the nuts.
Naven Naicker raised to 65,000 and it folded all the way to Rayhaan Adam in the big blind, who three-bet jammed for the last 495,000. Naicker wasted little time in calling and was ahead.

Gustav Louw raised to 60,000 and then moved in after Andrew Holland three-bet out of the blinds, which Holland quickly called.

Louw never got much going after an early beat and had to settle for 20th place worth ZAR 45,000.
Edgar Antezana raised to 75,000 on the outer tables and then called the three-bet shove by the table short stack Braam van Huyssteen for little more.

"Good game Braam", several players at the table said.
Damon Fine won his first all-in to go from a single chip to 45,000 and then jammed all-in. All players folded except for Alvin Pillay in the big blind.
"I have a good hand," Fine said and tabled his 7♦7♥ while Pillay replied "I have two unders" to show his 5♦3♣.
The A♥4♦2♦ flop gave Pillay the wheel, the 8♥ turn left Fine drawing dead to make the J♦ river a formality.
