Alexandra Müller raised to 5,500 with the A♥8♥ and was called by Marko Nortje in the small blind with the A♠7♦ and Cliton Taliwant, who defended the big blind with J♠6♠. They checked to the 9♥8♦7♠2♠ turn on which Nortje led for 13,000 with his third pair. Taliwanth called with the straight and flush draw, as did Müller with her top pair.

All checked the K♦ on the river and Müller won the pot.

Sunelle Kirstein was able to grind her way back well above the starting stack and she was then involved in four-way action to the A♦10♣7♥ flop. Hennie Matthee as the under-the-gun player bet 20,000 and she raised to 50,000 on the button. Both blinds folded and her opponent called.

On the 8♥ turn, Kirstein moved all-in when checked to her and she was called for the last 81,000.

Kirstein tabled her 7♦7♣ for a set and Matthee instantly said "oh that's nice, well done" before flipping over his A♥K♠. The 9♦ river became a formality as Kirstein had already locked up the double.

During the break, Wesley Blom mentioned a hand where he pot-controlled with pocket kings and Martin Smit fired on a board containing three aces on the flop with the words "one ace is enough".

Just now, Smit bet the 10♦8♠3♣ flop and 9♥ turn for 5,000 each to get called. Smit also bet the J♣ river for 5,000 and Blom raised to 10,000. Upon an expiring action clock, Smit called and mucked to the K♥J♥ of Blom.
