Henderson Bad Beats Wessels for a Double

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
William Henderson
William Henderson

William Henderson raised to 10,000 with the K3 and Wesley Wessels three-bet to 36,000 in the next seat with the AQ. The call by Henderson led to the Q83 flop, on which Henderson check-called for 55,000 with only 47,000 behind.

Henderson checked the 8 turn, Wessels bet 47,000 and Henderson called. The river was the 3 and Henderson spiked a miracle double.

"Really?" a completely stunned Wessels said on the feature table and vaulred out of his chair.

Jubal Chetty was eliminated by Lory Dugast and Wesley Blom then arrived after their previous table had broken.

"You have the wrong seat card there," Sascha Manns in the three seat said and Blom glanced at the card, then said down with a smile.

"That is a terrible bluff, Sascha," Blom replied and the German said without a beat "I have done many of those this week".

According to the screens, there are 121 players out of 322 entries remaining and this is the final level of the registration period.

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Clive Kikia
Clive Kikia

Clive Kikia was all-in for the last 13,000 on the K863 and earned calls from Alexander Rizvi as well as Daniel Scott, the latter of who used a time bank. Kikia celebrated that fact already and then asked the dealer vividly for the seven of clubs.

When the 3 came and both opponents checked, Kikia already cheered and said "give me the money".

Rizvi showed the A6, Scott had the 97 and the J10 of Kikia secured the triple up.

"Now you guys are in trouble. Anyone want an ice cream?" he asked and Darren Kramer nodded.

Zulch Soars to Massive Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Jayson Zulch
Jayson Zulch

Jayson Zulch had chipped up significantly before the break and then took on Melika Razavi as well as Paul Muller in a three-way all-in.

Paul Muller: JJ All in
Melika Razavi: A9 All in
Jayson Zulch: KQ

The 954 flop and 10 turn gave Zulch a lot of outs, one of which he hit with the Q river.

Zulch then three-bet out of the blinds only for the initial raiser Adam Katz to four-bet to 55,000.

"How much do you play?" Zulch asked and then called when Katz replied he had around 300,000 behind.

On the 875 flop, Zulch check-called for 55,000 and checked the J turn. Katz bet 100,000 and Zulch check-jammed while using one time bank. Katz folded and lost more than half of his stack, getting shown the QQ.
