A short stack got it in with the 7♥7♠ and Andrew Holland looked them up holding the A♥Q♥. The K♥10♥6♣ flop gave Holland a huge double draw and the 2♣ turn changed nothing yet. However, the bigger stack got there with the 9♥ river to deal the final blow.
"Almost a royal flush," Holland said before he fist-bumped his opponent on the way out.
With around 160,000 in the middle to the 9♣8♣7♠J♦4♠ river, Joggie Aucamp checked and Tim AKinussi bet 75,000. Aucamp called and Akinussi declared two pair without showing his cards just yet.
Aucamp tabled his 10♥9♥ and Akinnusi mucked his cards.
In the first two levels and break, the total tally went from 253 entries to 312 and that brings the tournament closer to meeting and surpassing the ZAR 4 million guarantee. The late registration will close at the start of level 14 after the second scheduled break for the day.

The overall field has reached 302 entries with around 130 players remaining and they have been sent on a scheduled 15-minute break. Another two levels of late registration remain to boost the attendance further.
During the break, the T-500 chips will be raced off as they are no longer needed for the remainder of the tournament.
Darren Kramer was eliminated by Jamie McCarthy and up next, there was a single raise to 8,000 by Marko Nortje and the call by Carrie Feinauer. Gavin Sardini had not pushed all-in yet when McCarthy behind put in the 8,000 chips for the call, Sardini then jammed 73,500. Since the action changed, McCarthy received his chips back and folded.
Nortje jammed quickly and Feinauer folded.

"Fair fight," Sardini said prior to the showdown. That changed with the A♠Q♠4♦ flop when he grimaced "not a fair fight" and repeated the same on the A♦ turn. Drawing dead already, the 5♠ came on the river and Sardini headed to the exit. It is very likely that both Kramer and Sardini will re-enter shortly.
Philipp Muller was all-in with a shorter stack and had the Q♣10♥, which was dominated by Nico Wiechers with his A♦J♥. The K♠9♥4♦ flop missed both and another blank came on the turn. However, the Q♥ river secured the double for Muller and put a small dent into the big stack of Wiechers.
On a heads-up flop of A♦Q♠3♦, Wesley Blom check-called for 7,000 and led the 6♠ turn for 12,000. Dean Hutchison raised after using a time bank and they got it in thereafter. Blom was holding the A♠A♥ and Hutchison's 3♠3♣ couldn't catch the one outer on the J♠ river.
Hutchison then tangled with Caleb October when the latter check-called the Q♣7♥5♥ flop for 20,000 and the 9♣ turn for 67,000. October checked the 9♦ river and Hutchison jammed to force out October.
