Huawei Sun raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and then folded when Norman Cherry Sr three-bet to 12,000.
In the next hand, James Adey opened to 5,000 in the cutoff and Cliton Taliwanth called on the button. Bradley Moore three-bet to 15,000 in the small blind to shut down all opponents.

The ace-queen of Stephen Courtney just hit the muck when the dealer pushed his chips to Jamie Vilela. On a board of 6♣2♣2♥J♣2♠, the Q♦Q♥ of Vilela had remained ahead all the way to send Courtney to the rail. Whether or not he will re-enter tonight still remains to be seen.
So far, the Day 1b field has reached 63 entries of which some 29 players currently have chips at their disposal.
Bradley Moore had previously re-entered not long ago and was then all-in and at risk against table neighbour Giovanni Zanette on the 7♣7♦3♦ flop. Both had flush draws with Moore ahead holding A♦J♦ versus 4♦2♦.
The 5♥ turn gave Zanette more outs but the K♣ river kept ace-high in the lead for the double.
On the river of a 8♠6♠5♠Q♣K♦ board, Stephen Courtney bet 12,000 in the small blind and Jamie Vilela tossed in 23,000 from under the gun before he had to make a valid min-raise to 24,000. Courtney tank-called and mucked when he was shown the A♠J♠ for the flopped ace-high flush.
"You wouldn't have paid more, if I made it forty or so," Vilela said while raking in the pot.
Nic Ioannoy re-entered to the outer tables and got a shorter stack into the middle against multiple callers. There was no side action on a board of 3♣2♥2♠8♦4♠, and Ioannoy earned the pot with 3♥3♠ for a flopped full house.
"I was trying to get everyone else involved," he joked.
In a preflop three-bet pot with 9,000 invested, KM and Kinesh Pather checked to the A♦6♥3♠Q♣A♣ river. KM announced a bet of 3,000 and first dropped in the wrong chip before his verbal declaration was rectified via three T-1,000 chips as well.
"I don't have an ace, but I call," Pather said and then mucked the Q♦ when KM tabled the Q♥Q♠ for queens full.
Soon after, the very same table saw the departure of Ting Zhao against Jaco Mouton. On a board of 10♥8♠4♣3♣8♦, Zhao's A♥10♣ for top pair and top kicker on the flop ran into 4♠4♦ for bottom set. Mouton further improved to a full house by the river and added even more chips.
