Wesley Blom was eliminated by Giovanni Zanette, who then attempted to knock out Giovanni Gaggia. The latter was in the small blind and flopped the bottom end of the straight with 7♠6♠ on 10♦9♠8♦. Zanette's K♣J♦ had outs but missed on the 2♠ turn and 10♥ river.
"Thanks Gio," Gaggia smirked. Blom had already re-entered by then as he was now on table eight.

Paul Mantzios raised to 2,500 and Anand Kumar called. Gregory Maistry three-bet to 7,800 and the only caller was Mantzios. On the 8♠8♣6♣ flop, Mantzios check-raised from 10,500 to 25,000 with some chips behind.
"How much are you playing?" Maistry inquired and then moved all-in, Mantzios called.

In a preflop raising war, Max Deveson made it 9,000 to go only for Jarred Solomon to bump it up to 21,000. Deveson pondered about his decision for a while and then shook his head, folded.

On a flop of K♣10♥5♠, Wesley Blom and Joe Chan both had a piece and the latter was all-in with a shorter stack, rolling over the Q♦10♦. Blom had that beat with the K♦Q♥ and there was no upset to follow on the A♠ turn as well as the 6♥ river.
