Nic Ioannoy jammed the Q♦7♠ into table neighbour Sean Bloom, who happily called all-in with A♥Q♥ for his last 15,600. The Q♣8♦3♣4♣10♠ board gave both players top pair.
"It would have gone in anyways," Ioannoy declared.
Soon after, the remaining short stack went in with 4♣3♣ and he was up against Gregory Maistry with the A♦10♦. The 8♣8♥7♥A♣3♥ board brought no flush on the river and that was it for Ioannoy again.
Patrice Ah-Nien in the big blind bet the K♥8♦6♥9♣5♣ river for 6,000. John Abrosie then raised to 13,000 on the button and Ah-Nien called to get shown 7♣7♥ for the straight. Ah-Nien's 8♣7♠ had the same straight and they chopped.
"You missed a good hand, tell him about the hand," Joe Rahme then mentioned to the live reporting team while chatting with Sean Suckerman. The duo had tangled on a double-paired queen-high board on which Suckerman bet the river for 17,000 with 10x7x. Rahme called with king-high and was good, which also explains his larger stack.

With more than 10,000 in the middle to the Q♠10♣9♠ flop, Nic Ioannoy got his stack of around 17,000 into the middle with Q♣10♥ for top and bottom pair. Alan Jung looked him up with the A♥A♦ and the J♥ turn as well as the A♣ river gave Jung a set.
Ioannoy was eliminated and bought back in immediately to start fresh at a new table.
Anand Kumar raised to 1,200 and earned one caller. Sean Bloom then three-bet to 6,600 and Hennie Appel called all-in for 6,400, Kumar called.
On the K♥10♣8♥ flop, both active players checked and saw the 4♦ on the turn. Kumar bet 10,000 and Bloom folded.
"I have a straight," Appel joked and showed A♠J♣.
"I have a full house," Kumar replied back and revealed his 8♣8♦ for a set. That became a full house with the 4♠ river to knock out Appel.
