Smith Times Two

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Kathy Lehne completed and called when Dan Smith raised to 20,000.

Smith barreled on the {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} flop and the {6-Spades} turn and Lehne called both bets, paying 25,000 and 58,000, respectively.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Lehne checked one more time. Smith used a timebank to figure out what to do, having last 95,000 in front of him. He moved all-in after 90 seconds and Lehne called.

Smith showed {Q-Spades}{2-Hearts}, getting maximum value from his flopped top pair as Lehne mucked in defeat.

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Stephen Chidwick and Mikita Badziakouski played a pot that saw the former complete the blind and then call 20,000. After unknown flop action, the board read {10-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Chidwick check-called 85,000. On the {j-Diamonds} river, Chidwick checked again. Badziakouski bet 170,000 and Chidwick quickly called.

Badziakouski showed {k-}{j-} but Chidwick had him with {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a straight.

King-High for Vogelsang

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The action folded to Sam Soverel on the button, and he raised to 12,000. Defending champion Christoph Vogelsang called from the big blind, and the flop landed {3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

Soverel continued for 9,000, and Vogelsang called.

Both players checked down the {4-Spades} and {9-Clubs} on the turn and river, and Vogelsang tabled his {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, and Soverel mucked.

Negreanu Gets There, Clips Kenney

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu raised to 12,500 in the cutoff and all remaining players joined the contest. Bryn Kenney flatted the button while Kahle Burns and John Andress came along from the blinds.

The flop fell {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Negreanu continued for 15,000. Only Andress released his hand, Kenney and Burns wanted to see the turn.

It was the {J-Clubs} and Negreanu fired another 65,000. Kenney matched his bid and Burns gave up to leave the pot heads-up.

The river came {3-Clubs} and Negreanu bet big, firing 225,000. Kenney called in a second to see the bad news. Negreanu rolled over {K-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for runner-runner nuts. Kenney, unfortunately for him, made the nut straight on the turn with {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} only to get redrawn on the river.

Cold-Four From Kaverman

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Seth Davies opened cutoff to 12,000, provoking a three-bet from small blind Sam Soverel who made it 50,000 to go.

Byron Kaverman paused, thinking of his action in the big blind. He eventually slid in 120,000. His cold four-bet got through as both remaining players quickly folded.

Stephen Chidwick completed the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski raised to 20,000. Chidwick stuck around, calling.

He check-called once again on the {6-Diamonds} turn which Badziakouski priced at 55,000.

The river brought the {10-Clubs} and both players quickly tapped. Chidwick turned up {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for two pair, earning the pot. "It's easy!" Steffen Sontheimer observed.
