Vogelsang Takes It on River

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The second outer table has seen mostly small pots in this level and the most significant change in the last segment occurred when Kathy Lehne raised the cutoff to 15,000. Sam Soverel flatted on the button and Christoph Vogelsang came along in the big blind.

The {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop was checked to Soverel who bet out 20,000. Both of his opponents were interested in seeing the turn card.

So they remained three-way to the {A-Spades} turn which brought checks all around.

But Vogelsang led out 53,000 on the {J-Clubs} river, scooping the pot without having to show anything.

Two Pair for Petrangelo

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jason Koon opened the cutoff to 13,500 and both Nick Petrangelo and Mikita Badziakouski called in the blinds.

The flop landed {5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} and action checked round to see the {10-Spades} on the turn.

All three players checked again as the river landed the {Q-Diamonds}. Each player checked it through, and Petrangelo tabled his {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for two-pair, and both Badziakouski and Koon mucked.

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Steffen Sontheimer opened from under the gun to 14,000 and Justin Bonomo called on the button.

With the action on Sergio Aido in the small blind, he used a time extension chip before three-betting to 68,000.

Chidwick Overbets River, Gets Paid by Negreanu

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In another big contest on the feature table, Stephen Chidwick had flopped a straight with {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. He and Daniel Negreanu made it to the river with the {4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{Q-Spades} lying on the felt. There was 149,000 in the middle and Chidwick opted for a huge overbet, firing 325,000.

Negreanu had {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and paid Chidwick off, seeing the bad news. This huge value-bet allowed Chidwick to cross 2 million in chips.

Adams Folds Set on River

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With the board reading {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades}, three players were still in contention for the pot with everyone having caught a piece of the texture.

Kahle Burns (small blind) fired 150,000 into about 190,000 and Brandon Adams (cutoff) pulled off a great fold, laying down a set of fives. Daniel Negreanu then folded {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} on the button. They both saved themselves some chips as Burns had flopped a flush with {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.
