Petrangelo check-called 20,000 and the {9-Diamonds} paired the board. Petrangelo remained in the check-calling mode when Negreanu placed in 65,000.

The river was the {5-Spades} and Negreanu fired a huge 375,000, trying to get big value with {K-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Petrangelo, however, quickly folded his {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

Negreanu Makes Great Calldown

Details of the following hand were limited due to technical difficulties with the live stream.

Nick Petrangelo limped from the small blind with {10-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Daniel Negreanu raised to 80,000 with {A-}{10-Spades}. Petrangelo called and they continued to the {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop with two spades.

Petrangelo let Negreanu bet 50,000 and responded with a check-raise to 180,000. Negreanu called.

The {K-Clubs} turn saw Petrangelo push further 205,000 towards the middle but Negreanu stuck around, calling.

Petrangelo fired one more shell on a {5-Spades} river, putting Negreanu to a tough decision. The bet was around 580,000 and Negreanu completed his great calldown, picking off Petrangelo's bluff to add a giant chunk to his stack.
