Kelleher Flips Best to Extend Chip Lead
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
The largest stack in the room belongs to Michael Kelleher, and while trying to count his stack, he was immediately involved in another hand in which a series of preflop raises resulted in a middle position player getting his roughly 35,000 stack into the middle, at risk against Kelleher in the cutoff.
Middle Position: A♠K♣
Michael Kelleher: 10♠10♣
It was a coinflip scenario until the 10♥6♥5♥ flop gave Kelleher top set. His opponent was drawing to running cards or a chop, but the 5♠ turn sealed his fate as Kelleher improved to a full house, and he collected the remains after the 4♦ river as his stack grows even larger.
