Ace-King is a Drawing Hand

Jonathan Gerrick opened from early position before a player on his direct left jammed for 163,000, and Gerrick called.

Middle Postion: AK All in
Jonathan Gerrick: 77

It was a coinflip scenario as the Q84 flop kept Gerrick's sevens in front and took away two of his opponent's outs.

The 5 turn was clean, and the 3 river completed Gerrick's flush, sending his opponent out on the stone bubble.

The remaining 137 players are now bagging up their chips for tomorrow's 10:15 a.m. restart.

Three Survivals

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Through four hands, there have been three all in and calls.

Pocket tens held against ace-king, then ace-ten beat queen-five suited, both of which were for around five big blinds.

Then, A9 was all in against KK on a flop of 543 in a pot worth nearly 350,000, but the A landed on the turn for the shorter stack to double.

Play continues until we have another elimination.

Staats Brings Us One Spot Closer

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Christopher Staats opened under the gun and the big blind defended off a short stack.

On the 942 flop, the big blind's final 85,000 found its way into the middle, and he was at risk against Staats.

The big blind flopped top pair against the overcard and gutshot of Staats. The 2 turn was safe, but the A landed on the river to give Staats the winner.

Cochrun Holds to Double
