There was plenty of action throughout Day 2 as players battled their way through the field. Gregory Sessler found himself involved in a three-way all-in and managed to complete a flush on the turn, securing a crucial triple-up. Elsewhere, Erik Gault and Peter Fox clashed in a sizable pot between two of the bigger stacks, with Fox's pocket tens holding against Gault's ace-jack.

Joseph Osterbauer also picked up an important pot late in the day when his ace-king held against ace-deuce, while the field continued to shrink toward the end-of-day target.

The final elimination of the night came on the last hand before the scheduled break, bringing the field down to 58 players and bringing Day 2 to a close.

Michael Scully jammed for 780,000 from middle position and Gregory Sessler called all in for 375,000 in the hijack. The small blind then rejammed covering both players to put them at risk.

Gregory Sessler: KQ All in
Michael Scully: Q10
Small Blind: QQ

The small blind would himself in an amazing spot against the two hands. However, the A96 flop brought a sweat as Sessler picked up a flush draw.

The 8 turn completed the flush for Sessler, and Scully picked up a gutshot, which came home on the 7 river. Incredibly, the queens came in last place, Sessler tripled, and Scully roughly broke even

Osterbauer Wakes Up with Big Slick

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

A player jammed for 720,000 from the button before Joseph Osterbauer rejammed in the small blind.

"I only looked at one card," the button announced, much to the delight of Osterbauer with his particular hand.

Button: A2 All in
Joseph Osterbauer: AK

Osterbauer held the dominating ace and it stayed that way on the AQJ6Q as his king kicker played to bring the field one spot closer to bagging.

Big Stacks Battle

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Peter Fox opened to 120,000 in the hijack and Hill Kerby flatted in the cutoff. In the small blind, Erik Gault squeezed to 380,000, and only Fox called.

On the Q88 flop, Gault check-called a bet of 250,000 from Fox.

Both the 7 turn and 3 river would checked through.

Erik Gault: AJ
Peter Fox: 1010

Fox's tens were best as he won a modest pot in a battle of the chipleaders.

Play has slowed considerably with the Day 3 bubble looming as players look to secure a bag for the penultimate day.

Most recently, Tirza Sanders and Viet Van Vo have been eliminated. The field sits at 65 players and will conclude for the night with 58 left.
