Big Stacks Battle
Level 25
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Peter Fox opened to 120,000 in the hijack and Hill Kerby flatted in the cutoff. In the small blind, Erik Gault squeezed to 380,000, and only Fox called.
On the Q♠8♦8♣ flop, Gault check-called a bet of 250,000 from Fox.
Both the 7♣ turn and 3♣ river would checked through.
Erik Gault: A♦J♦
Peter Fox: 10♦10♣
Fox's tens were best as he won a modest pot in a battle of the chipleaders.
Play has slowed considerably with the Day 3 bubble looming as players look to secure a bag for the penultimate day.
Most recently, Tirza Sanders and Viet Van Vo have been eliminated. The field sits at 65 players and will conclude for the night with 58 left.
