Level 14
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tyler Hancock opened to 10,000 in the cutoff before the button jammed for an even 50,000. Hancock went back and forth, lamenting the situation with a "really bad hand", before he elected to stick in the call for about a third of his stack.

Hancock was indeed behind but held live cards as the K♣10♦6♥ flop added a gutshot to his outs. However, it was the 9♠ turn that vaulted him into the lead, and the premature stand up and table tap of his opponent was not enough as the 4♣ landed on the river, securing the elimination for Hancock.
At an adjacent table, defending champion Brandon Mitchell has built a healthy stack, sitting on about 450,000 as the field ticks down below 140 remaining players.
