Michelle Spikes the Turn in a Classic Race
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Mike Wattel opened from early position before Tiffany Michelle jammed for 35,000 on his left, and Wattel quickly called as the covering stack.
Tiffany Michelle: A♠K♠
Mike Wattel: Q♠Q♣
"Fair fight," tablemate Matt Hackney commented as the most classic of races was set to take place again.
The 7♥7♣2♠ flop offered no help to Michelle, but she found the K♦ on the turn to take the lead. She held through the 10♣ river to secure the double.
