Robbi Jade Lew Doubles with Quads
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Robbi Jade Lew opened from middle position and was called by both the hijack and the big blind.
On the K♦Q♣3♠ flop, Lew continued for 6,000 and only the hijack called.
Lew led again for 11,000 on the 4♣ turn, and her opponent called once again.
On the Q♠ river, Lew slowed down with a check before her opponent bet enough to put her all in, and she snapped off her 25,500 remaining stack.
Robbi Jade Lew: Q♥Q♦
Hijack: 4♠4♦
It was the worst possible turn for the hijack, who floated the flop and turned a set of fours before filling up on the river. However, he was always in bad shape against the set of queens, which made quads on the river to secure the full double for Lew.
