Nguyen Flops Nuts Against Rickman's Second Nuts
Level 21
: Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
A player from middle position, Gary Rickman from the cutoff, the small blind, and Lam Nguyen from the big blind saw a flop of A♣8♣2♣ in a single-raised pot.
The blinds checked to the middle position player who moved all in for his 390,000 stack. Rickman flatted, and the small blind folded. Nguyen then jammed as the covering stack and Rickman called off his roughly 1,100,000 stack.
Middle Position: A♦Q♠
Gary Rickman: Q♣J♣
Lam Nguyen: K♣10♣
It was a cooler flop with Rickman flopping the second nut flush against the nut flush of Nguyen. The board ran out 5♥A♥, and Nguyen collected the largest pot of the day so far.
