Mikal Smith Eliminated in 13th Place ($22,018)
Level 33
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Sergio Segura opened to 1,200,000 from the hijack before Mikal Smith jammed for roughly 3,300,000 from the cutoff, and Segura called.
Mikal Smith: A♠10♠
Sergio Segura: A♥9♥
Smith was primed for the double with the dominating ace on the Q♠J♥4♦ flop. However, the 9♠ fell on the turn to pair Segura's kicker, but Smith had an open-ender with the nut flush draw. Unfortunately for him, the river was the 9♦, and he was eliminated.
