Alilovic Forces Maatoug River Fold

Action folded to Moise Maatoug on the button, who opened to 3,500, only to be faced with a three-bet to 18,000 from Christian Alilovic in the big blind. Maatoug called.

On the K♦8♠5♠ flop, Alilovic continued with a bet of 12,000, with Maatoug making the quick call.

The 3♦ rolled off on the turn, and Alilovic continued to fire, sliding out a bet of 30,000. Maatoug again made the quick call.

The A♣ river completed the board, and Alilovic completed the triple barrel, moving all in with the covering stack for around 85,000.

Maatoug went deep into the tank, the ace river clearly being the worst possible card, looking to the heavens, at the clock, and counting out his chips. Eventually he let his hand go, tapping the table as he did so, to send a big pot to Alilovic.

Around 125,000 was already in the middle on a board of 2♦8♣J♦5♠ in a huge pot between Heni Mokni in the hijack and Marco Regonaschi in the big blind.

Regonaschi checked to Mokni, who moved all in for around 102,000 with the covering stack. After a significant period of thought, Regonaschi flicked in a calling chip.

Regonaschi was drawing to a ten, but to Mokni's shock and disgust the 10♦ rolled off on the river to give Regonaschi a set of tens and send him a huge pot, leaving Mokni shaking his head at his misfortune.

The 3♥ rolled off on the turn, and was checked through by all players.

On the A♠ river, Le Dantec led out with a bet of 16,000, Patel folded and Arduini called. Le Dantec showed 8♣7♠ for a pair of sevens, while Arduini had A♥10♠ for the rivered pair of aces.

Arduini now moves close to 300,000.

Two hands after their last battle, action folded to Matteo Zanardi on the button, who opened to 2,100, receiving a call from David Kozma in the small blind.

On the 9♠7♣9♦ flop, Kozma check-called a bet of 2,100 from Zanardi.

The 2♦ rolled off on the turn, and Kozma again check-called a bet of 6,100 from Zanardi.

The K♠ completed the board, and Kozma checked for a third time. Zanardi quickly fired out a bet if 25,000, covering Kozma's remaining stack. Kozma took some time to think it through, but ultimately sent his hand into the muck.
