Armougon Spikes River to Double via Pruchon

Abel Pruchon raised to 400,000 from the cutoff, and Olivier Armougon announced he was all in for 5,700,000 from the button. Pruchon made the quick call.

Armougon had run into a monster but spiked the river on 4♥2♦6♠4♣A♠ to send him the double-up, which has bunched the top three up between Pruchon, Armougon and Bonnin.

Despite a terrible run of hands, Pruchon doesn't seem too flustered by the turn of events, perhaps recognizing he still has the chip lead.

Rayane Bouibeb moved all in from under the gun for 1,550,000 and was called by Clement Delacroix in the big blind.

Bouibed's hand was dominated, although he flopped an up and down straight draw on the Q♦J♣7♠ flop, while Delacroix was ahead with top pair queens.

Unfortunately for Bouibeb, the A♠ turn and 4♥ river were bricks and he exited in sixth place.

Action folded to Clement Delacroix in the cutoff, who opened to 500,000 with 8♥8♣, receiving a call from Olivier Armougon in the small blind with A♣Q♣ and Jonathan Bonnin in the big blind with 7♠6♣.

On the K♠6♦3♠ flop, action was checked to Delacroix, who put out a bet of 675,000. Armougon folded but Bonnin produced a check-raise to 1,800,000, earning a fold from Delacroix.

Abel Pruchon opened to 500,000 from the button with Q♥9♦ and Jonathan Bonnin defended his big blind with K♠J♦.

On the J♣8♦5♦ flop, Bonnin check-called versus a bet of 700,000 from Pruchon.

On the 4♣ turn Bonnin check-called a bet of 2,000,000 from Pruchon.

The 10♣ completed the board, giving Pruchon the straight. Bonnin checked once more, and Pruchon slid out a bet of 5,000,000.

Bonnin took some time to think it through, before sending his hand into the muck, in a very good fold.

Pruchon responded with a three-bet to 2,400,000, but quickly folded when Armougon four-bet jammed for 14,800,000.

Armougon now holds the chip lead.

Bonnin and Iche Engage in Battle of the Blinds

Action folded to Jonathan Bonnin in the small blind, who raised to 900,000 with K♣7♦. Mohamed Iche called in the big blind with A♥7♠.

On the Q♦3♥6♣ flop, Bonnin continued with a bet of 700,000, which Iche called.

The 4♠ rolled off on the turn, and Bonin continued to fire with his turned straight draw, betting 1,300,000. Iche called with nothing more than ace-high and the same straight draw.

The J♥ completed the board, and Bonnin asked to see his opponent's remaining stack, before sliding out a time bank to the dealer. He didn't go through with the triple barrel and checked, while Iche turned the best hand into a bluff by betting 1,900,000, earning a fold from Bonnin.

Action folded to Abel Pruchon in the big blind with A♦4♦, who produced a cold four-bet to 3,600,000. Bonnin folded, but Iche wasn't done there as he produced a five-bet to 5,800,000, with the covering stack.

Pruchon, who had 8,825,000 behind, had to fold.
