Lehmann Gets Paid With the Nuts

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Manfred Lehmann
Manfred Lehmann

Thomas Santerne opened to 800 under the gun and was faced with a three-bet to 2,300 by Manfred Lehmann in the next seat. Action folded to Tobias Peters in the small blind, who pondered the position for a moment and cold-called. Santerne also called.

On the KQ5 flop, action was checked to Lehmann, who slid out a bet of 3,100. Peters called and Santerne folded.

The 10 rolled off on the turn, completing the one-card flush, and Peters check-called a bet of 3,100 from Lehmann, asking "Do you think there will be another spade on the river?" as he did so.

The 2 completed the board and Peters checked once more. Lehmann quickly fired out a bet of 5,200 and Peters said "If you have it, you have it", as he flicked in calling chips.

Lehmann did indeed have it as he showed AA for the nut flush, causing Peters to muck his hand, and sending a chunky early pot to Lehmann.

Level 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Samuel Fournier opened to 1,200 under the gun and received calls from Marc Sen and Mourad Mezibra in middle position, along with the player in the big blind.

On the 1043 flop, action was checked to Sen, who slid out a bet of 3,500. Mezibra swiftly raised to 11,300 forcing the big blind and Fournier to fold.

Sen checked his cards before moving the rest of his chips, totaling 14,500, into the middle. Mezibra made the quick call.

Marc Sen: 44
Mourad Mezibra: 33

Both players had flopped a set but Sen was in great shape with his set of fours, leaving Mezibra drawing to the 3, which did not arrived on the 7 turn and 2 river, sending Sen a double-up.
