Landron Secures Triple Up; Reard Busts Zaks

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Aurelie Reard
Aurelie Reard

Alexandre Landron moved all in from under the gun for 8,300 and Kostya Zaks three-bet to 15,000. Aurelie Reard took some time to consider her options before moving all in for around 60,000.

Action folded back to Zaks, who took some time to think the position through before moving the rest of his chips into the middle, around 50,000 in total.

Alexandre Landron: J9 All in
Kostya Zaks: KQ All in
Aurelie Reard: 1010

Reard's pair of tens were ahead, and remained so after the A34 flop and 7 turn. However the J rolled off on the river to put Landron into the lead with a pair of jacks and hand him a triple up.

Reard had to console herself with winning the more substantial side pot with her pocket tens versus Zaks' king-high, sending him to the rail.
