In the 831st episode of the PokerNews Podcast, which is sponsored by PokerStars, Chad Holloway and Kyna England are joined by Nikki Limo, who is filling in for Mike Holtz, at Level 9 Studio in Las Vegas to talk about her time as the Loose Cannon on the PokerStars Big Game. The first two episodes recently dropped featuring Limo squaring off against Phil Hellmuth, Alex Keating, Arden Cho, Lex Veldhuis, and Jennifer Tilly.
Limo discusses how she got cast for the show, what happened when she played "Two Truths and a Bluff," and then Kyna & Chad surprise her by offering up some bluffs of their own. Limo also delves into a big hand that she played against the "Poker Brat" that went poker viral.
The crew then talked about the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) being less than a week away, and take a look at some of the "Best Without a Bracelet" including Maria Ho, Seth Davies, and Bin Weng, just to name a few. Plus, will Phil Ivey be at the 2024 WSOP? Find out what the hosts think in this episode.
From there, they take a look at Jessica Vierling winning the WSOP Commerce $1,700 Main Event for $328,273, plus all the big winners from the Triton Montenegro including Mike Watson, Igor Yaroshevskyy, Adrian Mateos, and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau, who all won seven-figure scores!
Finally, Kyna and Nikki play a game of #PokerThrift in which they have to guess whether or not Chad bought some random poker items he found in secondhand stores in Las Vegas. Oh, and there's a preview of Raminder Singh's appearance on PokerNews' Life Outside Poker show hosted by Connor Richards.

The players have been sent on a 75-minute dinner break, with play scheduled to get underway again at approximately 8:45 p.m. local time.
Cedric Ghanassia opened to 2,000 from under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 4,200 from chipleader Jean-Paul Charbit. The small blind cold-called, and Ghanassia also called.
Action was checked to Charbit on the Q♣5♦3♦ flop, who fired out a huge overbet of 225,000. The small blind quickly folded, but Ghanassia, looking perplexed, thought the spot over before moving the rest of his chips, around 65,000, into the middle.
Cedric Ghanassia: K♦Q♥
Jean-Paul Charbit: A♥A♦
Ghanassia's top pair queens had run into Charbit's aces, and he was not saved by the J♠ turn and J♦ river, allowing Charbit to claim another scalp and add to his already huge stack.

The 8♥5♥4♥ flop was checked through by both players.
On the K♦ turn, Brou led out with a sizeable bet of 11,200, leading to a swift fold from Harry.

In the previous hand Nicolas Tytgat and Jean Koja ended up all-in preflop, both from early position, with both holding ace-king and leading to a chopped pot.
Tytgat opened under the gun to 1,600 in the next hand and received calls from Alexandre Dana on the button and Koja in the big blind.
On the 10♥4♠2♥ flop Koja checked and Tytgat slid out a bet of 2,800. Dana folded and Koja called.
The 5♣ rolled off on the turn, and Koja checked once more. Tytgat pondered the position for a moment, before putting out a bet of 9,000.
Koja glanced at his opponent, before he reached for chips and produced a check-raise to 30,000, with Tytgat's cards hitting the muck almost before Koja's chips were in the middle, sending Koja a nice pot.

On a board of 4♠10♥Q♠A♣ with 21,800 in the pot, Adrien Sanz shoved from middle position for 14,900. Omar Lakhdari in the cutoff immediately flipped over his cards to call with a slightly shortest stack.
Omar Lakhdari: K♣J♥
Adrien Sanz: K♠10♠
Lakhdari had the best straight possible, so he doubled up after the 10♣ turn. After this hand, Sanz was left with only 200. He was eliminated shortly after.
