Welcome to Day 1c of the GGPoker £560 United Kingdom Poker Championship Main Event here in Nottingham at Dusk Till Dawn poker club.

Cards go in the air from 12 p.m. local time as players will have their last chance to join the 74 survivors from Day 1a and 1b, along with the survivors from the online flights. This tournament offers a huge £500,000 prizepool guarantee and players will start with 200,000 chips.

Blinds will start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante and blinds will increase every 30-minutes. Late Registration will remain open until Level 9 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Players will also be given five 20-second time bank cards at the start of the day. Players are allowed one reentry per flight.

Yesterday Duncan McLellan bagged biggest with 3,650,000. He will be joined by Day 1a chip leader Leslie Packer in Day 2, who ended Friday with 4,455,000, as well as poker professional Andrew Wilson who bagged 3,384,380 in the online flight. GGPoker ambassador Lukas Robinson also managed to bag yesterday but will return to Day 2 with just over 10 big blinds.

Play will continue until 15% of the field remain, in which those who survive will secure a place in Day 2 and will be in the money. Stay tuned to PokerNews to follow all the action until a winner is crowned on Monday 16th January.
