Two Quick Double-Ups
Level 26
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
On one table, Manfred Mueller, from middle position, put out a bet on the flop of 6♥3♠8♦ before Karim Frick check-raised all-in to 855,000 from the big blind. A snap call followed and the cards were tabled.
Karim Frick: Ax3x
Manfred Mueller: KxKx
It was looking like the field was on the cusp of another elimination, but the deck had other ideas when the turn fell the A♥. The 10♣ river bricked out and Frick doubled up.
On the other table, "Kairi" in the cutoff went all-in preflop against chip leader Anton Heinrich in the big blind.
"Kairi": A♦A♥
Anton Heinrich: 6♦6♠
"Kairi"s aces easily held on 5♦J♠10♦4♥4♦, and he also secured a double-up.
