Day 1cd Completed
Day 1c of the 2023 The Hendon Mob Championship Liechtenstein CHF 300 ($332) Main Event is in the books. During the day, a total of 37 entries were made in Grand Casino Liechtenstein, of which 11 players bagged and tagged a stack for Day 2. Meanwhile, Day 1d is still ongoing and is boasting 73 entries at the time of writing. Fifty-two players remain in contention in that flight, with late registration still being open for three more levels. Across all starting days so far, 178 players have registered for the tournament, which means that the organization still has some ways to go to reach the CHF 200,000 guarantee.
Chip leading Day 1c is the relatively unknown Zuelfuekar Kalmaz, who bagged and tagged a stack of 281,000, good for 47 big blinds at the start of Day 2, and netting him an 11th spot on the overall leaderboard so far. "Leon 17" (270,000) and Maurizio Nobili (239,000) were the two other players to amass more than 200,000 chips during the day and complete the top three chip stacks.
Meanwhile, local heroine Kathrin Wolfinger also made it through to Day 2. She occupies the second place on The Hendon Mob's Liechtenstein all-time money list, an exclusive list that only contains 17 people in total. Being only $10,000 in lifetime winnings away from overtaking leader Philipp Meier, a deep run in the THMC Main Event might mean she may just capture that honor from him. However, she has her work cut out for her, as she will have to spin up a stack of 88,000 on Day 2, just under 15 big blinds.

Before she has to worry about that, though, four more starting flights need to finish first. As stated Day 1d is finishing up tonight, while Day 1e and Day 1f are taking place June 3rd. Then, the turbo Day 1g is scheduled to take place just before Day 2 on June 4th. Many more players are expected to show up, attracted by the huge guarantee provided.
PokerNews will be back on June 3rd, at 1 p.m. local time. At that time, Day 1e will kick off. Day 1d will then also be quickly glossed over, and the chip counts of Day 1d will also be provided. Tune back in at that moment to not miss any of the poker action from the mountains of Liechtenstein.

Heinz Schneider opened to 10,000 from the hijack before Monika Kissling Leitgeb made it 30,000 to go from the big blind. Schneider called and the pair saw a 10♦3♠3♦ flop, which Kissling Leitgeb checked.
Schneider then made a bet of 30,000, upon which Kissling Leitgeb folded her A♠K♣ face-up on the table. Schneider was courteous enough to show her she made a good fold, as he let the table see his K♦10♠ for a flopped two pair.

The field is roughly 30 minutes away from the end of Day 1c, because the last level has just been started. 13 players still stand strong, while in Day 1d the counter has risen to 60 entries, who are now playing in Level 5.
Level: 14
Blinds: 2,500/5,000
Ante: 5,000
It had only been a few minutes since PokerNews checked on "Omaha4Rollz"s table, but upon return, he was seen with a much smaller stack.
A part of it was in the middle as he had called Monika Kissling Leitgeb's all-in of 65,000. The cards were already flipped up and read:
Monika Kissling Leitgeb: A♠7♦
"Omaha4Rollz": A♦4♦
It was looking to be a chop on A♣K♥Q♠8♥, but the 7♠ river brought Kissling Leitgeb two pair. She sighed a sigh of relief as she took in the double-up, while "Omaha4Rollz" counted what he was left with. He would later lose them all in an unwitnessed hand.
On the other table, Jakob Leitgeb's seat was also spotted empty in the meantime.

Silas Germann went all-in for 54,000 chips from under the gun and the action folded to Kathrin Wolfinger in the small blind. She thought about it for a bit, but eventually reluctantly let her hand go. "Omaha4Rollz" was in the big blind and snap called, however.
Silas Germann: A♦Q♦
"Omaha4Rollz": 5♠5♦
The flip would be decided in "Omaha4Rollz"s favor when the board ran out 8♥2♦2♣4♦7♥. He eliminated another player and has been among the chip leaders all day.
