Lampert Saved by the River

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

It folded to Ramon Lampert in the small blind, who put his final 25,500 chips in the middle. "83-83" was in the big blind and made the call with the covering stack.

Ramon Lampert: Q8
"83-83": AK

All was looking good for "83-83" on 4922, but Lampert rivered two pair when the Q hit. A double-up for Lampert, while "83-83" was left with an amount he must still like.

Weber Busts Two

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Karl Weber
Karl Weber

Big blind Rajeeban Selvakumar was already all-in before the flop was dealt, and a side pot was brewing between Karl Weber and Ivan Kocic. Weber was in the small blind and checked to Kocic, who bet 12,500. Weber made the call and the J turn was flipped over.

Weber checked again and Kocic bet 20,000 this time. Again, Weber made the call. The river then fell A and Weber now led all-in. Kocic called with a big sigh and his suspicions were confirmed when Weber tabled 109 for the rivered straight.

Kocic had played a set of kings with KK, but it was no match for the turned straight of Weber. Selvakumar hit nothing of importance with his 53 and both players exited the tournament, while Weber moved on to be one of the bigger stacks in the room.

Steady as She Goes for Van Bavel

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Arjan van Bavel
Arjan van Bavel

Big stack Arjan van Bavel raised to 5,500 from under the gun and the table folded to Timo Rauschenbach in the big blind, who opted to defend.

On a flop of K78, Rauschenbach check-called the 5,000 continuation-bet from Van Bavel, and did so too for the 13,500 bet on the turn.

The river Q then went check-check and Van Bavel's K10 bested the 89 of Rauschenbach.

Zivanovic Fails to Triple Up

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Zoran Zivanovic raised to 6,000 from the hijack and received calls from Rajeeban Selvakumar on the button and Emil Abadgiev in the big blind.

The flop of 889 saw Zivanovic put in his last 12,000 chips after a check from Abadgiev. Both players called and gave Zivanovic a chance to triple up.

His opponents then checked down the 3 turn and 7 river. All players had to show and Abadgiev's 96 beat the AQ of Zivanovich and 107 of Selvakumar.

Zivanovic zoomed away from the table, while Abadgiev stacked some more chips onto his stack.

Heim Holds as His Rise Continues

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Roger Heim
Roger Heim

Patrick Tober raised to 6,000 from under the gun before Emina Pracalic made it 16,000 from the hijack. Roger Heim cold-called from the button and Tober joined in as well.

The flop was K56 and Tober checked to Pracalic, who fired a continuation-bet of 16,000. Heim then shoved all-in, covering both his opponents. Tober quickly folded, but Pracalic needed a moment to assess the situation. After it had passed, he decided upon a call, and a showdown was ordered.

Emina Pracalic: 1010
Roger Heim: AK.

No tens came during the 29 runout and Precalic was eliminated from the tournament. Meanwhile, Heim is steadily climbing and is over the 250,000 mark.
