Boro Skalonja raised under the gun to 200,000 with 8♣7♣. Nicola Diaco called on the button with A♦4♦, as did Hermann Schweiger in the small blind K♣3♠ and Stefan Fink in the big blind with J♦9♦.

On the J♣3♣5♦, Schweiger led out with a bet of 250,000 and was called by Fink. Skalonja and Diaco.

On the 8♦ turn Schweiger checked and Fink moved all in for 1,700,000, leading to folds from all his opponents.

On the J♠4♠5♣ flop Diaco continued with a bet of 225,000 and Schweiger called.

On the 10♥ turn Diaco continued with the same bet size, 225,000, and Schweiger again called.

The 7♣ river was checked by both players and Diaco scooped the pot with a pair of eights.

On the 5♣ turn both players checked.

On the A♥ river Diaco put out a bet of 250,000 and Schweiger made the quick call, his pair of tens good enough for the pot.

Nicola Diaco raised to 200,000 from the cutoff and the short-stacked Michele Falcone moved all in from the big blind for 645,000.

Diaco made the quick call with Falcone at risk.

Falcone was in trouble with a dominated ace and the J♣10♣J♥2♣4♦ runout did not save him, giving Diaco a pair of tens and sending Falcone out in fifth.

Hermann Schweiger then produced a three-bet from the big blind to 355,000 with Q♥Q♠. Both of his opponents called.

On the 6♦K♥9♥ flop, Schweiger continued with a bet of 325,000 and only Skalonja called.

On the 3♠ turn, Schweiger checked as did Skalonja.

On the J♣ river, Schweiger put out a bet of 325,000 but was faced with a raise to 1,300,000 by Skalonja, getting his opponent to fold the best hand.
