Spoerri Takes Three-Bet Pot
Level 1
: Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Wladimir Schlosser opened to 300 from early position and was faced with a three-bet to 1,500 from Giuseppe Ditaranto in the next seat.
Christoph Spoerri cold-called in middle position and action was folded back to Schlosser, who folded.
On the 8♦2♦10♠ flop Ditaranto continued with a bet of 2,000, which Spoerri called.
On the 9♦ turn Ditaranto continued with the aggression, firing out a bet of 6,000. Spoerri again called.
The 6♥ river was checked through by both players. Ditaranto showed A♣K♦ for ace-high, while Spoerri showed J♥9♥ for a pair of nines, which was good enough to take the pot.
