Polverino Wins Battle of the Blinds
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Two opponents had limped from early position and Stipe Orec followed in the small blind. Daniele Polverino raised to 3,000 and only Orec called.
The 5♥10♠5♠ flop was checked through by both players. On the 8♣ turn Orec led out with a bet of 3,000 and Polverino called.
On the A♠ river Orec downsized and put out a bet of 1,000. Polverino called.
Orec showed Q♠Q♣ for a pair of queens, which was no good versus Polverino's A♥K♣ for a pair of aces.
