The bubble eventually burst when Robert Kaggerud busted an opponent. Kaggerud ultimately departed in 17th place.

The knockouts came at a frantic pace after the bubble, with players such as Frank Diekmann and Gordon Paterson all falling by the wayside before the final table.

The final table was set when Mario Fausch was eliminated in 10th place by Boro Skalonja.

The final table will start at 6 p.m on Monday, February 5 with three minutes of the 25,000/50,000, 50,000 big blind ante level left, and will feature 45-minute levels.
