Once the final two tables were set, not all players had finished moving their chips yet when one of the largest pots of the tournament unfolded on the outer table.

Sugen Singh raised to 60,000 and Jaco Mouton three-bet to 150,000 in the next seat. Singh then pushed and Mouton called for around 550,000.

Marc Fourie raised to 55,000 and Muaaz Gani called. Abraham Van Huyssteen then jammed for 165,000 in the small blind to receive two calls. The two active players checked down the 7♦4♦3♣9♠10♠ board.

Fourie showed K♥Q♦, Gani had the A♥J♥ but Van Huyssteen tripled with J♠J♣.

Shortly after, Gani raised from under the gun and called the shove by Jedd Kossew in the cutoff for 220,000.

Shortly after, Marko Nortje three-bet preflop against Didier Mery in a blind battle with the former check-jamming the J♠6♣3♦ flop for 295,000. Nortje had 75,000 invested and reluctantly called the shove.
