Quintin Uses His Gut Early

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

The pot was around 5,000 between Andrew Ostapchenko and Thierry Quintin with a turned board of {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Quintin check-called a bet of 4,800 and the dealer flipped over a {k-Diamonds}.

Ostapchenko bet 7,000 after receiving a check and Quintin instantly called. Ostapchenko showed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a missed draw and Quintin tabled his {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}, giving him the pot with just ace-high.

Hanna Guthrie opened to 700, two called before Connor Armstrong's turn in the big blind, and he then elected to three-bet to 3,800. Only Tino Glorio Jr called to see the {7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop.

Both players tapped, bringing a {10-Spades} turn card where Glorio fired in 3,000. Armstrong check-called and the board was complete with a {q-Hearts}.

Armstrong checked once more, Glorio reached for chips and bet 10,000. A check-call from Armstrong saw Glorio then turn over {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a lone pair of hockey sticks and Armstrong mucked, shipping the pot to Glorio.

Thomas Lands the Flush to Drop Getzen

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} when Nicholas Getzen moved the rest of his chips into the middle. Benjamin Thomas called the jam of around 22,000 and the two turned over their cards.

Nicholas Getzen: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Benjamin Thomas: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The aces were rolling but a crisp {2-Diamonds} turn card hit the felt, giving Thomas his flush. Getzen was then drawing dead to the {4-Spades} river and was eliminated.

Flush Makes Jones Stand, Quads Sit Him Back Down

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

The three-way flop of {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} was on the felt when Robert French bet 2,000 into the 5,500 pot. On his left was Michael Jones who bumped it up to 7,000. James Alexander called the raise and French quickly moved all in, totaling 32,200.

Jones followed suit, calling in his stack of 28,000. Alexander hummed and hawed until eventually, he elected to call, and all three turned over their hands.

Michael Jones: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Robert French: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
James Alexander: {4-Spades}{2-Spades}

Jones was leading with his set of niners and his opponents were blocking each other to make it a little less sweaty. Unfortunately for Jones the {q-Spades} hit, instantly giving them the flush and he stood up in preparation to take an exit.

The unpredictable {9-Clubs} then slammed over on the river, sitting Jones right back down in his seat as he landed quads for the win. Jones pulled in the main and French took down the side.
