Day 1b Started

Pratt Enters the Field

Denise Pratt
Denise Pratt

Denise Pratt was spotted entering Day 1b as one of the prominent players in the field.

She has been mixing it up with a few modest pots with her opponents in the first level of action. She most recently took a pot on a flop of {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} with a bet of 1,200 which cleared out her opponents.

Kenney Steams Mandel With River

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
EBONY KENNEY
EBONY KENNEY

Action was on the flop as it read {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} Ebony Kenney was in the tank as she was facing a shove for about 48,000 into a pot of 26,000 from Jordan Mandel.

"I just saw you shove jack-deuce earlier" she said out loud as she weighed the decision. She thought for a bit longer before calling.

Mandel had the {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for top pair while Kenney had the {a-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a wheel draw and ace-high.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and the river came the {a-Clubs} to give Kenney the best of it on the river. Mandel reacted negatively and got up from the table to blow off some steam with a wounded stack.

He and Kenney then got into a little bit of a spat over her call as she continued to stack her chips.

Mandel busted just a few hands later.

Pratt Boats Up to Felt Opponent

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Denise Pratt
Denise Pratt

Denise Pratt called the all in of her short-stacked opponent and held the {9-}{9-} vs the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} of her opponent.

The flop gave her opponent a flush as it came {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} but also gave Pratt a set which in this case was drawing to a full house. The turn was a blank before the river came an {8-} to pair the board and give Pratt the winning boat.
