Pingfeng Wu Tops Day 1b Flight
Yesterday's second flight in the 2025 The Lord Poker Tournament Circuit Series Main Event saw a total of 45 entries for the $1,000 heat and the top five finishers earned their spot in the money and Day 2, all locking up a cash prize of US$2,000 already after bagging and tagging the chips for the night.
Leading the way with 521,000 is China's Pingfeng Wu and he was also responsible for bursting the money bubble for the second of four starting says. His A♣10♠ stayed ahead of Huawei Lin and her A♥5♦ when the board ran out A♠7♣3♦4♣K♣ as one half of the Taiwese poker duo "winpokercouple" missed the cut. Her husband Yu Chung "Nevan" Chang, however, survived with 240,000 and that happens to be the second largest tally for Day 1b.
Also advancing to Day 2 were Gary Thompson, Ye Yi and Xuesong Wu with their respective chip counts below.
