Nitsche Flips Cates to the Rail

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Dan Cates
Dan Cates

Daniel Cates raised it up from the cutoff and Dominik Nitsche stuck in a three-bet on the button. The action was back on Cates who made a four-bet and the two players quickly had all of their chips in the middle with Cates being at risk for around 350,000.

Daniel Cates: AQAll in
Dominik Nitsche: 1010

It turned out to be a coin flip and the flop of 844 favored Nitsche with the pocket pair. The 7 and 9 runout changed nothing and Cates left the tournament area.

Pang Doubles Through Salazar Sanchez

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a flop of AJ4, Supeng Pang eventually got his chips in against Mauricio Salazar Sanchez and had the slightly superior kicker with A10 versus A9. Neither the Q turn nor the 8 river changed anything and Pang doubled to nearly even out the stack sizes of both players.

Harry Spikes an Ace

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Xiao Zhu spun up a stack early on in the day but recently took a couple of beats, leaving him on a short stack. Zhu ripped all in for his last 78,000 in early position and Harry flicked in a call from a couple of seats over.

Xiao Zhu: 66All in
Harry: A5

Despite only having one over card, Harry took the lead on the A107 flop. The 9 on the turn gave Zhu a straight draw but the 7 paired the board on the river and Zhu was eliminated.

Zhang Finds a Winner

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Nevan Chang moved all in for 110,000 in early position, for the second time in just a few hands. This time, he found a caller in Ivan Zhang on the button while the rest of the table folded.

Nevan Chang: 88All in
Ivan Zhang: JJ

Zhang held the better of the two pocket pairs and the Q746K proved to be save as Chang was sent to the rail for what appears to be the final time this evening.

The Last Level of the Night

Level 10 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Some late re-entries have boosted the field to 115 entries and some 65 players currently remain at the start of the final level for tonight. Christopher Park was among the latest players to bust, re-enter and get assigned the same seat randomly.

On his former stream table, Yuzhu Wang saw his stack vanish with ace-deuce against the 99 of Marius Gierse on a board of 643106 and he quickly exited the stage.

Chen Doubles Through Zhou

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jumiao She clapped repeatedly when her table neighbour Liang Chen scored a full double through Yinan Zhou. The cards of Zhou were already in the muck as he could not beat QQ for queens full on a board of Q10232 and that put a major dagger into the stack of Zhou.

Gavin Eliminated by Barer

Level 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Ami Barer
Ami Barer

The chips only went in after the river of a 54326 board and Gavin's all-in was impossible not to be looked up by Ami Barer, as the latter had the No-Limit Hold'em steel wheel with A4 for the straight flush. Gavin only had J10 for a flush to the jack and will be back soon after with another re-entry.
