Xiao Zhu raised to 2,500 and Stephen Song bumped it up to 16,000 out of the big blind. Zhu reraised and Dong Chen played the translator as the sizing was declared in Chinese - it was 40,000 to go. Song called and checked the 9♥9♦5♣ flop, then check-folded when Zhu made it 15,000 to go.
Zhu collected the pot and flashed the 6♦, several players at the table smirked including Song.
Lei Yu limped in from the small blind and Martin Sedlak checked his option. The flop fell 6♠6♥5♣ and Yu check-called a bet of 1,500 from Sedlak.
The 10♣ rolled off on the turn and Yu checked again. Sedlak sized up a bet of 7,500 this time and Yu stuck around for the 8♥ on the river. Yu checked for the third time and Sedlak announced a bet of 16,000. Yu instantly mucked his cards and Sedlak collected the pot.
The field size has doubled to 26 entries within the first level of the day and among the international entries, Stephen Song, Sean Ooi and Minh Quang Nguyen entered the fray.
On the tail end of a 8♥4♣2♠J♠A♣ board, Marius Gierse bet 30,000 and Ami Barer called. Gierse tabled 10♦9♦ for a busted straight draw and then asked "ace with a spade?" to Barer, who indeed showed the A♠K♦.

On the first hand of the day, Raffaele Sorrentino opened to 3,000 from under the gun and Marius Gierse three-bet to 14,000 from the small blind. Sorrentino called and they went heads-up to a flop of 10♠8♦6♥.
Gierse started with a check and Sorrentino checked it back to the J♥ on the turn. Gierse checked again and Sorrentino tossed in a pot-sized bet of 30,000. Gierse called and the 9♦ completed the board. Gierse checked for the third time and Sorrentino checked it back. Gierse turned over A♠A♦ and Sorrentino was unable to beat it.
Yang Wang raised to 2,000 and then called a three-bet to 7,500 by Zhengpeng Liu in the small blind on a four-handed table. Liu bet the J♠6♠4♠ flop for 16,000 to earn a call and fired another bet of 20,000 on the A♣ turn, Wang called.
After the J♥ river, both players checked and Liu tabled the 9♦9♥. Wang had that beat with A♦Q♠ to win the big pot.
There are 14 players registered and most of them have already taken a seat near the live stream feature stage setup. Cards are now in the air and the field is expected to grow significantly throughout the day.
