Sedlak Takes From Lu

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Martin Sedlak raised the button to 4,000 and Anton Lu defended the big blind. On the AJ6 flop, Lu check-called for 6,500 and they checked down the rest of the board with the 10 turn and Q river. Lu showed J5 for a pair of jacks but Sedlak won the pot with the A3.

After the hand was over, Dominik Nitsche sat down right next to Sedlak.

Shen Has the Last Say

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

The action folded to Xiao Zhu on the button who made it 5,000 to go. Yinchao Shen was in the small blind and three-bet to 11,000 which got the big blind to fold. Zhu countered with a four-bet to 30,000 and Shen went one step further with a five-bet to 71,000.

Zhu finally gave up the charade as he dumped his cards in the muck with a grin on his face, sending the pot to Shen.

Chen Shoves the River

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Kaihua Liu opened to 4,000 from under the gun and was called by Ivan Zhang a couple of seats over. Guangcheng Chen reraised to 17,500 in the big blind and both Liu and Zhang called.

The flop came 1032 and Chen continued with a bet of 25,000 which only Zhang called. The 10 on the turn slowed the action as both players checked and the 10 hit the river. Chen pushed all in for his last 60,000 chips and Zhang instantly mucked his cards.

Gierse Wins Juicy Pot Versus Zhang

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Marius Gierse raised and then saw Duo Su three-bet to 8,000. Jingjie Zhang reraised to 35,000 on the button and Gierse called, Su folded.

On the K73 flop, Gierse opted to check-call for 27,000 and did so again for 60,000 on the 2 turn. The K river was checked and Gierse won the pot with AK for trips kings.

Big Bets from Gierse

Four players headed to a flop for 3,500 apiece and the dealer fanned the flop of Q43. The action checked to Marius Gierse on the button who flicked in a bet of 5,000. Jingjie Zhang called from the big blind and Christopher Park tagged along as well.

The turn was the 5 and Gierse continued his story with a larger bet of 30,000. Zhang stepped aside this time but Park stuck around for the J on the river. Park checked once more and Gierse sized up another big bet of 110,000. Park thought for a minute but then let his hand go.

Wang Takes From Liu

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

With 52,500 in the middle to the AK83 turn, Pan Wang had checked from the small blind and Kaihua Liu used one time bank extension before he checked back. The 10 fell on the river and Wang bet 30,000, Liu folded.

Also featured on this table are Nevan Chang and Ivan Zhang. The former ran deep in the TLPT Circuit Main Event and busted on the final two tables, then jumped into the Deepstack Side Event and won at around 7 a.m. local time before going to breakfast, taking a nap and joining the next event.

Kang Loses Multi Three-Bets

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Stephen Song raised to 3,500 in the cutoff and Hyunyeong Kang three-bet to 11,000 on the button. Song replied with a four-bet to 38,000 and Kang dumped his cards into the muck.

On the next hand, Yunpeng Jiang opened to 3,000 in middle position and Kang three-bet to 10,000. Jiang just called and the flop of A106 was spread across the felt.

Jiang checked to Kang who bet 6,000 and Jiang called to see the 2 on the turn. Both players checked and the A paired the board on the river. Jiang checked again and Kang tapped the table as well. Jiang tabled QQ for two pair and Kang conceded the pot.
